There are four apex committees for coffee, cotton to garment, leather and pyrethrum sectors. Their role is to act as a coordinating body and to convene all sector entity along the value chain;

• They lead in the preparation of the industry-wide strategy to reflect issues identified by the value chain analysis and the vision, objectives and goals of the industry
• They act as the principal body to develop consensus between various sector entity to help implement an industry-wide strategy
• They serve as a central body to approve project concepts prepared by sector entities
